Ian has been my friend since high school. We were on the same soccer team, he helped me pick out my first tube amp, and helped me find my first job out of college. In fact, Ian was the first person to ever record me playing music and singing. Indeed, he helped me hear my voice for the first time! Since then, I have pursued making a band and recording music.

I wrote this song right after Ian's passing and I am thankful that there was a call from My Voice Music to create songs for Ian. In Ian's search for the light, he brought light to so many others. I cherish him and our friendship, and I offer the song Always Love You for this compilation.
